The Palm Beach Country Convention Center is a State of the
Art, 3.5 million a year, 350,000 square foot facility with a permanent
staff of 65, including 3 under my direct management. I was initially part
of a systems integration company as team lead when the building first went
up, and developed such a good relationship with management that they asked
me to stay on and IT manager.

My responsibility as the sole department manager includes
personnel management, salary and job performance reviews, budget creation
and management and interdepartmental management and goal achievement.

Network Administrator. Utilizing the Technical side of my
training to Design and implement networks for both “Internal”
Customers and Convention Center Attendees.

Green team Leader. My environmental obligations spurred me
to create a Green team at the Convention Center and I utilized my position
to start a Facility wide Recycling effort and by setting up several
different dumpsters and internal recycling bins we now save approximately
91,000 lbs or 45 1/2 tons of paper and cardboard every year! |
